BCOF Japan Medal 1946-52

BCOF Occupation of Japan Medal: Established originally by the British Commonwealth Occupation Forces Association of Queensland and for sale to all ex-service personnel who have served in Japan with the Australian component of occupation forces, or who served in Japan during the qualifying period with a Commonwealth unit closely associated with the Australian contingent. Criteria for purchase is the same as for the issue of the Korea medal (one day on the posted strength of a unit). The medal is cupro-nickel and the riband from the left, green, narrow red, white, narrow red, blue.
